My guest today is the wonderful Jim Cathcart.
Jim is one of the top 5 – award winning motivational and personal development speakers in the world. He is the author of 23 books and hundreds of articles. He’s been a lifelong student of psychology and leadership and his work has helped people all around the world create better lives for themselves.
He’s done all this while maintaining a family and personal life. He’s been married to his wife Paula for 53 years; he plays guitar in his own band and has toured the world riding motorcycles.
Jim and I talk about the challenges of his early life and how he was overweight and didn’t expect much for himself. This all changed when he heard Earl Nightingale on the radio, and he made the decision to follow Earl’s advice of devoting one hour a day for 5 years to studying his craft. He decided he wanted to do what the man on the radio did. The rest is history.
In our conversation today, Jim shares some of the strategies he uses to help people create the lives they want for themselves.
