Dr Millie Osborne has been helping people for more than 30 years as a doctor and physician and holistic psychiatrist. Fit to Eat: How the food industry is making us sick and what to do about it is her 5th book. She has a passion for helping people restore their health, that was so evident in our podcast today.
This is a great book; it’s extremely well written and one we should all take the time to read.
It was an absolute delight to talk with Millie today; she is so down to earth, compassionate and has lots of suggestions for how we can take back our own health. She has stern words for the pharmaceutical industry and decided she didn’t want to just be a “prescribing” doctor. Although she uses medication when it’s appropriate, she looks for other alternatives first. That’s why she’s the “Holistic Psychiatrist”.
We talk about so much; how to feed our children, the link between diet, depression and mental health and why it’s so hard to change our habits even when we want to and our life literally depends on it.
